June 27, 200420 yr Naw, Willis for left well conine isn't THAT bad. though willis is my fav pitcher. i say let him pitch every 5, and let him bat every other game he doesn't pitch. he really is an awesome batter. i love watching him hit! well, the 9 hits he has this season, that's good enough for me. and he's a lefty.. i dont know, i hope mckeon figures it out soon.
June 27, 200420 yr yeah but if you go after a BIG bat and a reliever.. you have to give stuff up.. and i personally dont want to see any of the following leave: hee seop, redmond, castillo, gonzalez, lowell, conine, pierre, cabrera, DONTRELLE WILLIS, aj burnett, josh beckett, brad penny, carl pavano, chad fox, or armando benitez. which basically leaves prospects.. which isn't a bad idea, though i'm not too sure what we have and how great they are.. though someone left for BILLY KOCH of all people. plus you need prospects.. especially since the marlins aren't the greatest in the world at re-signing people to long term deals.
