June 28, 200420 yr good point by the way.... aguila is batting 300 with 5 bombs and 16 doubles just to give you some idea. that is the ONLY reason i see that they would bring up aguila over dillon...that aguila can play CF and they have a deal involving abraham however, if they dont deal OMGABE, its seem strange to bring up aguila over dillon how old is aguila?

June 28, 200420 yr Aguila is 25. He is ready. This is a guy I have been very excited about - he hit very well in ST (I know, so did Nunez...but this guy is different - you will see). This guy can step in and platoon in LF and give JP some time off in CF if we need it. Plays great D, runs well, and can hit. He has more power than he has displayed.

June 28, 200420 yr This move is a bit surprising, especially considering our bullpen depth isn't very good to begin with. Who gets more PT? Nunez or Aguila? That should be interesting too.

June 28, 200420 yr With Borland being designated it gives the Marlins a little time to see if Dillon is worth putting on the 40 man roster. They just moved him to the outfield last week at AAA. The bench needs help and Aguila is already on the 40.
June 28, 200420 yr I like Aguillia... Anyone know whats happenin with Chip Ambres? I think the main reason he was brought up, is to Spell JP or platoon with Conine.. Dillon Probably wasnt brought up because he is still learning the Outfield.
