July 1, 200422 yr If I am ESPN I bring back Keith Olberman (Spelling?) and that late night guy on CBS (Can't remember the name right now). Also go back to the old intro music from back in the day in the mid to late 90's. If they could get those things done I would watch the show. Currently I only watch ESPN news
July 1, 200422 yr BTW" what the hell is wrong with his eye? is that natural or does he do it on purpose? *ends another anti-ESPN rant* 434424 From what I heard he got hit in the eye with one of those football machines while out I think the Jets training camp. 434466 lol, the danger of those jugs machines....
July 2, 200422 yr what the crap is up with those SportsCenter short movies? Those Silver Bullet spotlight thingys. The game show thing with the NFL players? The Ultimate Highlight Reel (why not just plays of the week?)? Ugghh, SportsCenter is a chore to watch...you don't even get the recap on the screen after highlights.
July 2, 200422 yr Here's a Devil Rays highlight... And watch this fan try to catch a foul ball, what a catch! Devil Rays win 6-3. What a joke.
July 3, 200422 yr I don't even watch Sportscenter anymore. If I want baseball highlights then i'll watch BBTN, if I want hockey highlights i'll watch NHL2Night, etc. The only thing Sportscenter is good for are bandwagon Yankees and Lakers fans, other than that it's a waste of time.
July 3, 200422 yr The Pirates swept a double header last night, Tony Alvarez had a grand slam, Jason Bay had 8 RBIs in game 2 alone, Perez pitched a gem, etc. The only highlight of the games was the inside the parker by Wilson. a whole 15 seconds dedicated to the games. Well, I guess they had to make room for pig squealing on the not so top 10 :|
July 3, 200422 yr for better marlins highlights I'll often watch parts of the spanish sportscenter ... although i don't speak the language, I like the presentation better better highlights, more coverage on alternative sports, less gimmicks .. it's often simulcasted at the same time as regular sportscenter out here on espn2 one night the marlins highlights were within the first 10 minutes on the spanish broadcast and features twice as much content as the marlins highlights on the english broadcast buried about 40 minutes into the show
