Hitting .400 with RISP tonight....and we get a nice win.

 

That's all it takes. Even with the pen giving up a few runs, our overall pitching effort was solid enough to get the win.

 

The guys looked much more relaxed at the plate tonight. Choi's single broke the ice, and the hits starting coming from there.

Yes...This feels like the beginning of a good run. Cabrera looked real good swinging the bat tonight, as did A-Gon and I liked Willingham's swing...Very solid....

Enjoy tomm's game - wish I could be there too. Looks like a good game, and something I'd love to watch!

Tonight was a very good way to win a game. Hitting with RISP, coming back to take leads, solid outing from a start. I also liked that we scored runs by hits and home runs.

 

How bout the new and improved Nate Bump? I was a hater before but I am impressed so far, also he is really hot so maybe if he keeps it up, he'll make the sig squad. What a golden opportunity!

If he keeps going the way he is, I'd rather leave him in the bullpen. He may become that 8th inning guy we've been looking for all year. I definitely think he has the stuff.
