Players ab r h 2b 3b hr rbi w k avg.

FLA Dillon, Joe lf/3b 3 2 2 0 0 1 1 1 0 .362 - HR (22); 31 HR overall

FLA Wilson, J ss 4 1 2 0 0 0 1 0 1 .364

That's all there is today. 31 homers in 2 levels for Dillon...22 homers at AAA with a .362 batting average...and it shows him as LF/3B now.

Man is a beast in AAA...Probably wouldn't get to play enough in the Majors to have any real impact, but I wouldn't be against bringing him up.

Dillion needs to go the majors, if the marlins can't call him up to play left, they should but him in a trade for someone who can or a catcher. Dillion deserves to be in the majors somewhere.

Lenny Harris for Hitting Coach (there's an opening there) and Mike Mordecai for 3rd Base Coach (there's an opening there) and then two Roster Spots open for the good Dillons of our world until we can figure out what the hell we can afford.

Meanwhile, re-direct the sentimental favorites.

Dillon was back in leftfield last night having failed in his previous attempt to make the conversion from 2nd baseman to leftfielder. It appears the Topes are going to play him there (clearly on orders from the parent club) until either he can play the position or he fails so miserably the Marlins trade him for someone who can.

Absent Redmond going on the DL or a trade Willingham's showcase will be over soon. His defensive skills at catcher just aren't there. He's at least a year, maybe more, from being a MLB capable catcher and he may never be one.

For those of you who don't understand what a hitter's league the Pacific Coast League is consider Abraham Nunez hit .355 last season in Albuquerque. That might put Dillon's numbers in perspective

Obviously numbers are different, but different people adjust differently to MLB pitching.
