We need Murphy to replace Pavano or Penny. this is good news no doubt it shows that the front office is convinced that this is a very good team (so am i) but the way we have been playing......it just might not be our year we will see one thing is for sure, this starting rotation will be dangerous in the post season

it depends im ready to sell if we dont win this next series if we can win at least 3 then im ready to add on winning 2 isnt acceptable, if we only win 2 i think its time to count us out dont forget though, having beckett back will be a huge boost

the only reason i say no is because this years team is going to be our best chance of making the playoffs out of all the teams we will have in 4 or 5 years

if right now we have no shot at making the playoffs then i dont think we ever will i dont think 1 bat can win 10 games however, i think the team as it is can make the playoffs so long as it plays like it can right now its in some serious funk

i like the idea of getting walker because we wouldnt be giving up the farm for a rental our farm is getting worse and worse...trading it for a rental right now isnt the best idea and to whoever said that right now this team is a .500 team you are incorrect this team as it is now will finish the season at least 10 games over .500, i guarantee it (whether that is considered a .500 team is up to you)

howard is plain filthy give this guy a chance. right now his only weakness is walking batters, its either a K or BB it seems like he has better command over his breaking pitch actually.... when this guy can control his fastball he will be dominant hes got chad fox stuff
