Best Running Back ever?

Featured Replies

I thought of this poll after doing the QB poll. I put in the obvious choices along with other people that could create an argument. tell people you think i missed.

I pick Jim Brown, was the all-time rushing leader until Sweetness broke his record. I dont think anyone had the combination of size and strength that man had. today he's like what 60 something? he still looks like he can play.

Jim Kiick is on this and not Barry Sander!?

You're a mad man! I would have voted for Sanders, although I think him and Jim Brown are equaly the best. Both would hold most of the records if they didn't retire early...

My vote for Kiick not that he deserves it but just on the fact that he is the nicest guy you can meet...

Now the story, My dad blocked for him at Wyoming during their Sugar and Sun bowl runs and of course they got inducted into The School's HOF

While at The Eduction a few years back while their during the meet and greet he came over with open arms and talked to my dad and just a real nice guy. I knew of him of course and signed it and then made the comment that he would have been a second or third round draft pick if my dad was not injured his senior year and that just really suprised me he is just a class act!

So I vote for him but he does not deserve it of course...

i knew i missed some important names. Barry Sanders along with Earl Campbell and Erick Dickerson, and i probably missed someone else. im sorry, i had a rough night and my mind wasnt working completely when i did this :shifty . my bad, it wasnt on purpose.

thanks man, i appreciate it. i didnt know you can do that though

thats a good story. i always heard that he was a nice guy. i was at dolphan fest last month, and when i was in line to get autographs from the alumni i heard he was among the alumni sitting at the table at the front giving autographs. he wasnt there when i got to the front so it was dissapointing, either he had been replaced already or it was just a rumor. but it wasnt bad though, i did get Nat Moore's autograph along with a few other old-timers.

nevermind, i see how you added them, your a moderator (i need sleep, big time)

I would have voted for Barry over Jim Brown if he was on then when I actually did vote... Barry was the best...
