July 22, 200422 yr http://www.apollolounge.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=693 that's the lamest thing ever....hands down
July 22, 200422 yr oh...my god. was that staged? the funny thing is, i could see playattheplate doing something like that j/k
July 22, 200422 yr Author im speechless....the only thing running through my mind pertaining to that is LAME! WOW!
July 22, 200422 yr It would've been better if she was his "internet girlfriend" and it was like "Now that we are engaged, we can finally meet face to face!" Oh god, that would've ruled so much.
July 22, 200422 yr Author if I ever got to the point where I would pop the question online (message board, AIM, etc.) i would need someone to beat me severely...hell, if I started dating someone that I had met through a message board, I'd feel dirty. Hell, I dont even go meeting people at games or anything from this board. Real life and board life are separate.

July 22, 200422 yr hey, if it works for them, go for it ... i know that i never would of thought of doing mine at a stadium .... but i know people who have and they loved it wouldn't be my style ... but if it is what makes him and her both happy, it's harmless i've met some good people off message boards ... including seahawk cheerleaders ... have been able to parlay job connections and advise on various things although i'd never go to a message board with the intent of meeting someone, or do online dating or cyber dating or anything like that .. nothing wrong with hanging out with people who have the same interests in philly there aren't too many seahawks fans ... i met a couple of them online and we'd meet up to watch games ... it was fun being able to actually go to a sports bar and not be like the guy in dolphins/jets commercial .... or worse yet showing up on your own and have them tell you that there isn't enough interest in your game
July 22, 200422 yr What if someone hacked his user name and the guy never really asked that? Then his girl would be all excited and then he'd be confused. Then she start talking about the wedding and he'd be clueless. This is as lame as those guys who propose at sporting events.

July 22, 200422 yr Author proposing on a message board is no where near being close to proposing at a sporting event... Doug did it on King of Queens...and he's the man
July 22, 200422 yr Not a way to go about doing things. It should be creative and romantic and doing it on a messageboard is neither.
July 22, 200422 yr I just thought about it... me: single, sad, bitter them: in love, about to get married, happy and wondered who really is the loser. The answer: still them.
