July 25, 200422 yr He's almost at 3,000 hits and 400 SB's and has played hard his whole career at 3 positions. Why not?
July 25, 200422 yr Craig Biggio plays the game of baseball the way it is supposed to be played, hard. I think he just might get voted in. He continues to put up decent numbers even though he is in his late 30s. I would vote him in even though it is 50/50.

July 29, 200422 yr easily. and Biggio will be probably top 10 in doubles when he retires. Impressive numbers, considering he has done it at 3 positions, well 4 now... and excelled at them all...well not so much defensively in the outfield..but you do what you can..lol Craig will eitehr be at 3k or very close to it. As much as people are talking about the old guard leaving Houston (i.e. Bagwell and Biggio) Mclane is very loyal to these two and will do all he can to see them a)get a ring and b)go out as an Astro on their terms
July 29, 200422 yr I think he has to break 3000 hits, and I don't think he's going to do it. None of his career numbers really jump out at me, though he has been hit by a lot of pitches. He's 4th all time, and only needs 45 more to break the record. I hope he gets it. I can't imagine he's a first ballot guy no matter what happens.
