June 18, 200323 yr I think that Edgar Renteria is the best Marlin player in our 10 year history. Because if it weren't for him, we wouldn't have won our only World Series in 1997.
June 18, 200323 yr The Best Marlin: I consider this a split. "Old Mr. Marlin" Jeff Conine and "New Mr. Marlin" Mikey Lowell...
June 18, 200323 yr Conine, he was a class act and didn't bad mouth the fans. If only we could sign him from the O's. MR MARLIN PLEASE COME BACK!
June 18, 200323 yr Yea, but he didn't really do that much while he was here... June 18, 200323 yr If your going by The Best to ever wear A Jersey than Piazza but I don't think you mean a short trip. I'd have to go with Shef fun to watch and deadly.
June 18, 200323 yr Kevin Brown should of won 25 in 96. As far as the best offensive player.... Sheffield wins that easily.... Conine is close for sentimental reasons. Lowell with a few more years will easily take that mantle.
June 18, 200323 yr best marlin ever is gary sheffield - guy was a threat all the time. I believe he was our most intimidating hitter ever.
June 18, 200323 yr Kevin Brown pitched the second no-hitter in Marlins history. As for the best....wow, tough choice... I guess either Conine.....or Lowell.......
June 18, 200323 yr Soon to Be Best Marlins in History... Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis and Josh Beckett (Tie :cool )
June 18, 200323 yr Sheffield...although my alltime favorite Marlin would be Cliff Floyd....oh yah, and I was a big fan of the early 3Bs Pendelton and Magadan.
