June 20, 200323 yr Problem with getting Giles is it would take a LOT. He's signed through 2005 for only about 7 or 8 million a year which is pretty cheap for a bat like that. Heck I'd make a lot of players available for Giles. The Pirates will be clearing a lot of salary anyway next year with players like Kevin Young finally gone. Trading Giles would give them plenty of room to re-tool. They've got Randall Simon cheap so probably no interest in Derek Lee.... What about Penny, Encarnacion, and a prospect for Giles?

If ya wanna an OF so bad why not trade Encarnacion and a prospect 4 Beltrain???? thats more ofa deal...... Beltrain aint making much.... all this trade crap makes no sense to me at all!!!!!! we got got Miggy on the team teh OF is solid Juan doing his thing and other Jaun has great ARM..... we dont need rondel white and we dont need to trade castillo you people need to understand we have a TOP 5 2nd basemen in the game... he can is great lead off hitter loves getting on base we should be greatful and if we did trade castillo i would want Mark loretta and White on the team.....

June 20, 200323 yr we dont need giles, or white, for the time were fine, lets calm down here and see what banks and cabrera can do. theres no need to try to rip the outfield and 1st baseman for a LF.
