possible reasons he would have:

 

1. priest is 31 years old

2. he has had injury troubles and could be afraid of a career ender

3. in the 2003 draft, he was upset by KC drafting RB Admin johnson

if priest retires i might go into a coma. he'll be in the nfl atleast 3-4 more years he's just to good.
