Can we win tomorrow?

you just gotta have faith in the players, and know the team will try their hardest... if they don't pull thru tomorrow, they still got 2 solid, solid pitchers the following 2 days.

you can't go into the game questioning their abilities. go in full throttle and hope for the best.

It would be nice if Josh showed the f*** up

He has to come down off cloud 9 first....and once again re-learn that he can't throw the ball past everyone and needs to pitch.

If he starts this game trying to establish his fastball and thinking he is going to throw it past everyone, like he did against the D'Backs and Expos, then the Cardinals will just start pounding the ball.

that game where he hurt his back, he was throwing just unbelievable that game. he had around 8 strikeouts through 3 innings. you wonder if he would've been able to finish that game, what kind of numbers he might have wound up with. might have even been a springboard to get him on a roll...

oh well. the team does seem to play up (or down) to the competition sometimes, so I think we've got a fair shot in this series.

that lineup is just ridiculous though. rolen, edmonds, pujols, walker, 4 of the most feared hitters in the game back to back.

the best way to deal with that line up is by doing the following:

We start Perisho, and he throws a 90MPH fastball at their heads, giving them brain damage...then they'll kick Perisho out...and we wouldnt have to worry about him....

haha, somehow doesnt seem to be too bad an idea!

Sounds like a perfect plan to me.
