June 22, 200323 yr Offense is not playoff caliber. We score 8 runs in 3 games against the Rays? Get 2 hit? Geez. A few games ago we were 1 hit by the Mets. Our offense is ugly.
June 22, 200323 yr i have watched both these losers pitch... i have had enough them..... you like Almanza good 4 u... but some of us actaully see the man SUXS... when will you understand that danny, i dunno... till thann keep defending ya boy Almanza.... find another lefty his price that can hold players liek he does, throw as fast as he does, k as many people as he does, and get off the mound as quick as him his onyl problem is he walks players to much, because he loses control on high speeds tejera just breaks with pressure on him, he cant come back from a 1-0 coutn or 2-0, 2-1, 3-1, hes only good with the firt strike, which he has to be able to not be scared to mix things, and try harder on getting the first strike

Face it this Rays pitching in a year or 2 has a bright Future they were nice to watch..... dont 4get the double header between the rays and Yanks 1 game Yanks lost 11-2 to the rays,.. Offense is fine, and so far what i have seen during this series...... is cluth hitting.. Bul pen is what we need to wrok on...... Jack has been scared to let the bul pen in thats why Pavano pitched in the 8th when should have been taken out in the 7th... 117 pitches 4 Pavz... and 138 4 redman the other night... get da Bul Pen in Tact cuz we are killing the starting pitchers arms and by da end teh year they will have no gas left in the tank......

June 22, 200323 yr look at the stat rankings anyway you want. Our offense has been horrid! They keep their stats up with games where they score 13 runs or 12 runs a game, then go 3 games in a row scoring under 3.

June 22, 200323 yr 7th in the NL in runs scored....not Wild Card material. And we've played more games than every other team in the NL except for Colorado and San Diego.

June 23, 200323 yr Yea, the Rays actually pitched very well... When they made mistakes, we took advantage. That's what we do well and that's what you need to do to win, and we do that... We take advantage of those mistakes...
June 23, 200323 yr what we do is get 2 hit by the Rays....5 the night before in 5 innings, and 6 the night before that in 11 innings...keep going back and you see 1 hit last tuesday, 1 run last monday (we lose 1-0).....the fact is, our offense has sucked for the past week against week teams. A playoff offense doesn't just score enough to get by. When we have a bad pitching game, I want our offense to carry us. Bottom line: our pitching has been good, but it's been carrying the team...we need the offense to carry its share of the load.
June 23, 200323 yr At least we being winning and lets hope that leaving the pro the offense will improve. I know Lee is going to be happy going to Shea and Fenway, maybe even Cabs he hits the ball hard to Center.
