I love RPGs, though I have only played a couple. I buy others and just can't seem to get into them because I guess of how much I loved the others -_- Anyway, I've played Legend Of Dragoon and Final Fantasy X and both were amazing games. I have many others but because I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to play them. RPGs take a lot of thought and time and I don't have the time to play or think about how to beat so and so I love having people that are like my characters... I don't know why but I love that. I'm a black mage fan when it comes to Final Fantasy Any RPG fans? If so, what have you played and what's your favorite?

BTW I love Rose from LOD and LuLu from FFX :thumbup : They rock my socks off.

I have the online Final Fantasy its amazing. I am a Red Mage and a Bard.

My Favorites are The Star Ocean,Breath of Fire, and Final Fantasy series,I also liked Brave Fencer Musashi.

The only Final Fantasy I liked was Mystic Quest back on the SNES. Tried FF7, but never really got into the game all that much. Then again, I never could enjoy serious games like that.

 

My favorite is EarthBound. Quirky game, great humor, and Mr. Saturn...what's not to like? BOING!

 

I am looking forward to playing through Paper Mario 2 when it comes out in a couple of months.

FF and Suikoden are my favorite series although I have played a lot others like Grandia. I own all the FF's from 7 to 10 and FF1-2 for PSX. FF7 is by far the best rpg I have played. Suikoden 1 and 2 are a very close second.

i havent been particularly video game savvy since some time in HS (several yrs ago), but i loved the FF series on console and the ultima series on computer.

 

hmmm what else... when i was wee little, i remember playing a little text RPG called rogue (maybe tonyi has heard of it) on my dad's ibm pc...it was my first rpg. i also played dungeons & dragons a little bit in late elementary school and early middle school. later in middle school (1996-ish) i played text-based MUDs on the internet.

 

as far as subscription mmorpg's, i played ultima online for a couple months in HS, and i played asheron's call for a couple more. right now when i occasionally want to play UO i play on free servers.

 

that's about it... i basically manage to enjoy any rpg i play, though nowadays i'm usually extremely reluctant to start playing a new one because of how time-consuming those damn things are.

Theres an RPG that came out for Playstation in 98 called Xenogears. Thats where i get my name from and I pretty much believe that was the best game ever made.

 

Not cause of graphics or gameplay or anything but fore me it was the most immersive game and it had the best storyline. philosophy,politics,religion,everything... it was deep. I remember playing it when I was 12 And i was amazed, I play it now and i realize little things here and there that i didnt know back then.

 

Its rare now, ive seen it go as high as 80 bucks, but it was a damn good game

Final Fantasy 3 for SNES is the best RPG ever. Suikoden was great as well.

 

And I don't really know if Secret of Mana was considered an RPG, but that game was wicked awesome.

I can't wait for september 14th to pick it up. It's going to be incredible.

 

Some of my favorites are Chrono Cross, FFVII, and Xenogears.

There's a pretty good chance that Fable will be moved back again.

 

And on topic, I love RPGs. I'm playing Tales Of Symphonia right now. It's awesome. As for PS2, I never really liked FF but Arc The Lad is good, Shadow Hearts is awesome, and Kingdom Hearts was good.

fable WILL NOT be moved back again it has been confirmed to be shipping on the 14th of sept and is scheduled to go gold in 2 weeks. previews from ign and gamespot are already preparing to preview the completed version.FABLE WILL OWN ALL PERIOD!

I think Monkey Island is adventure. I've played MI 1 the dos one ? And even with it's pixelated graphics it is still a great game. The other one I've played is Escape from Monkey Island which is also an amazing game.

Escape from Monkey Island is the most recent one, and the only one that is available on the PS2. great game. a graphic improvement over the rest of the series, though i miss the Amiga style graphics that the older ones have.

Maniac Mansion wasn't an RPG but it was a damn good game.
