Interesting, the Marlins take 2 of 3 from the Pads and so after showing the highlights of today's game and mentioning only that PAvano is a free agent and will get a lot of money from some team next year they spend about 5 minutes talking about what a year the PAds have had and how they are still in the Playoff race. No mention of the Marlins at all

Oh well, showed them last year, why not make it two. Pads have had a pretty good year, although after 2 straight losses may not be the best time to talk about it.

f*** em... we don't need to do shiznit to get their attention. Who cares what they think anyway????

We need to do more to get their attention.

Who cares what we did last year, it's 2004 not 2003

We just won the world series 2 times...a lot of teams have won it a lot more times than us even if thats because they have been aroung longer.

And we have had a lot of bad seasons. If you look at all of our seasons you will see that we have only done good like 2 or 3 times...and they say that were just lucky for winning the WS in the years when we had atleast an "ok" regular season.

Who cares what we did last year

*sigh* obviously all of us care and love the fact that we won the WS last year, BUT this is not last year, this is not the same team. This is a very different team. Just because we won the World Series last year does not mean that Baseball Tonight should jump on the Marlins bandwagon because we have won a few series in a row. The World Series was great, but it is in the past and has no affect whatsoever on this team right now except in experience.

Baseball Tonight does not have to love our team especailly as inconsistent as the team actually has been. When the fish get to within 2 games of the Wild Card is when BBTN will start talking.

there ya go

who cares about what they say. i dont give a f***.do u all get your jollys off by hearing mention of the marlins? we flew under the radar last year and if it were up to me i would not wanna hear anything about them at all on BBTN. u watch the games and u know what happens so why do u care if a national network lets u know something u already know.

Good apples, every other thread in this forum is about BBTN. Who cares what they think? You people won't drop it. How bout talking about Pavano's homer or all the Army kids running home when Mota came in or something, but not another BBTN thread.

They hate us :p

Last year, the media paid little attention to the fish and they won it all. I think its good for them ignore the good things this team does. :thumbup

Sometimes I love being hated. Guys, if they loved us than we would probably be sick of them. They would always talk good about us. They talk good about the Yankees a lot and we get sick of it. Do you want them to only talk good about us? Let them talk bad about us, or ignore us, it dosen't really matter.

I agree 100%.

Well one reason why some people probably want the Marlins to get more respect is that when they trun on their TV they want to hear about how their team, the Marlins are doing...and they dont mention the Marlins...and if they do, they barely talk about them. And that probably annoys some marlin fans...but you just gotta learn to not care.

bbtn is going to talk about the padres cuz at the beginning of the season they picked them to be there surprise team. So them having a good year just makes them want to pat themselfs on the back. Additionally, the marlins havent played the best of ball this season. Remember the beginning of the year when we had a fast start they couldnt get enough of us. I think we need to realize for bbtn to start featuring us we have to start making a serious move at the playoffs. We need to play to our potential then bbtn will care.

I dont care what the morons at ESPN think. We just keep winning and that is all that matters to me. They can keep picking the Cubs all they want. If we keep winning, they will have to eat crow. Again.
