The only team as hot as us recently is Los Angeles and they have a 2 game losing streak. Arizona has been hot more than the Fish and LA, but they will beat back down as soon as they start seeing more difficult teams.

I'm not worried about the snakes. Mor ethan half their payroll is DL'ed. They'll get hammered at Coors with a shaky offense and then SF and LA will slap them around.

I'm worried that LA and SF get into a serious race for the NL West and leave everyone else in the dust.

Speaking of schedules, does anyone know the correct times for the games against Boston this weekend. The origianl schedule had them at 7,5 and 1, but Ive seen them listed a lot as being at 7,7, and 2, including at the official site. Not a big deal, I was just curious.

Ross, I think the Saturday game may be undecided due to the possibility of Fox picking it as a game of the week. If willis starts then it will be 1:15 on fox. If he doesn't and fox doesn't pick it up then it will be 7:05 pm on WPXM/WPXP

Its going to be hard to get to the top buy if we keep on winning we might have a chance. We have to keep our Players especially Mike and our rotation needs to be healthy in order to compete. We still need some bullpen help, with our bullpen we arent going no where.

OK.

They could pick it up because both teams have been hot. Florida and New England are big markets. Fox can telecast up to four regional games of the week.

Games for Saturday, June 28 (all times ET):

1PM: NY METS @ NY YANKEES

1PM: CINCINNATI @ CLEVELAND

4PM: TEXAS @ HOUSTON

4PM: OAKLAND @ SAN FRANCISCO

They could drop the Cinci-Tribe game last minute, upset alot of affiliates and do the Red Sox-Fish Game.

I say we do what the Jays did with Halladay. Start Willis's a** on three days and get him some exposure.

The kids all over the place right now. He'll be in letterman and leno if he wins another 2 starts (especially if they're more shutouts). Don't destroy that arm just yet.

I say fire McKeon and bring Torborg back. He'd have Dontrelle's arm out there at a 130 pitch count every other night if you'd let him.

I say we do what the Jays did with Halladay. Start Willis's a** on three days and get him some exposure.

He did only throw I think 75 pitches in his last start, but too risky...

Be careful with that arm. If they want him on national TV, the have to do it around his cheduale, not him to theirs...

i'm not saying to start him so he's on fox. i'm just saying that fox could pick up saturday's game. isn't beckett due to start that day?

No, Phelps is starting on Saturday. Beckett wont be back until next week. As for Willis, he might pitch next Wednesday against the Braves, but that is a 6:00 game, so I dont know if ESPN would show it. And Fox doesnt change games at the last minute if it involves changing the time of the game, would have had to been chaged a while ago because they cant notfy fans in four days. I just noticed some sites list the game time at 5, some list it at 7.

It may be a movement due to a logistical problem locally in boston. (transportation or security not available for 5 pm)

-ESPN will cover these games next Wednesday July 2nd:

July 2 7 p.m. ESPN San Francisco at St. Louis

Some viewers will see Chicago (N.L.) at Philadelphia.

July 2 8 p.m. ESPN Seattle at Oakland

Some viewers will see ESPNEWS.

-July 7th is not yet determined. If Willis starts the 7th (Marlins at Cubs) then the gametime will move to 7:05 pm and ESPN will cover it in HD.

okay i thought Dontrelle Mania was suppose to open up the series with da Dead sox....

but people haveing em go on Thursday...

he pitched on Saturday...

meaning

Pavano on Sunday "we won that game"

Monday a DAY OFF

Tuesday Penny

Wednesday Phielps

Thursday Redman...

and Friday Willis.....

I dont understand how Wills is suppose to go on Thursday...

Now if the marlins dont let WIllis go on Thursday and move em to Friday aganst the Dead SOX

and da DEAD SOX dont let Pedro pitch Thursday and go on Friday

we could see a Pedro vs Dontrelle match up.....

HOW NICE WOULD THAT BE??????
