August 28, 200421 yr And so it begins, at 7:40 Eastern Tonight on ESPN..... College Football returns as defending co-champs USC take on Virginia Tech in The BCA Classic at Landover, Maryland, in what is basically a home game for Virginia Tech. This thread is for predictions/comments on tonights game, and for the heck of it, make your predictions on conference/national champions here..... I can't pick a national champ (just too hard) but here are my picks for the 6 major conferences: Big East: West Virginia Big 10: Michigan Big 12: Oklahoma Pac 10: USC ACC: Florida State SEC: Georgia Oh, and as for this game, USC will win comfortably.......just WAY too much talent for Virginia Tech to try and stop.......watch for a big game from explosive tailback Reggie Bush, who is a star in the making.
August 28, 200421 yr I can't wait to go to the first game of the season. Nothing is better than a brisk sunny Saturday morning at Kinnick Stadium. I love it.
August 28, 200421 yr My picks: Big East: West Virginia Big 10: Michigan Big 12: Oklahoma Pac 10: USC ACC: Miami SEC: Florida (As much as I hate to say it)
August 28, 200421 yr Miami and Virginia Tech are in for a rude awakening. 529629 Oh yes, the Maryland Terps are really a rude awakening. :lol
August 28, 200421 yr I hate to predict college football, but where the hell is the ACC Canes TV schedule? Only 3 games to be televised so far? That is a joke, I want most of them televised like they were in the Big East. Does anyone know if FSN Florida will have the replays or will it be Sunshine? I hope it is still FSN because Sunshine sucks with their anti-Canes attitude.
August 28, 200421 yr Dude, UGA is not going to win the SEC. No way. 529733 Chris Leak>>>>>Georgia Bulldogs. that is the only time I'll ever say anything positive about UF. Savor it all you want.
August 28, 200421 yr Georgia does get UT at home this year. So they'll win that. But odds are against them as usual to get out of Jacksonville with a win.
August 28, 200421 yr Big 11: Michigan Big East: West Virginia Big 12: Oklahoma ACC: Florida State PAC 10: USC SEC: LSU Va Tech wins this game close in a ginormous upset.

ABC still hasnt come out with the rest of its schedule and any game not covered by ABC/ESPN will be on jefferson pilot
August 28, 200421 yr Author Dude, UGA is not going to win the SEC. No way. 529733 If they don't, than LSU will...... Florida is WAY WAY too young to win the SEC this year, although they will be the favorites in 2005.
August 28, 200421 yr Miami vs Duke in the Orange Bowl. Book it. EDIT: Hey, did they change the rules so that you have to win your conference to be in NCAA Championship Game? Cause then Miami v. Duke will never happen, and I will be sad.

So its ABC, ESPN, and JP (which in Florida means Sunshine Network). Anyword on Hurricane Replays returning to FSN Florida?
