Rumor: Bill Kamal has been spotted at Gay Pride festivals in Broward County. Brian Norcross attends meetings of a gay group in Miami Dade called CoralGaybles.com.

 

Fact:I typed in the words "Bill Kamal Brian Norcross gay" into google and got an address to a gay forum where they were discussing an incident that happened on live TV with Brian Norcross:

 

A classic Brian Norcross story: He was doing a segment in Key West during Fantasy Fest, and was talking to the guy who does those big feathered masks. He starts asking the guy how he gets the feathers to stay on, because he (Brian) can never get feathers to stick. All of the anchors in the newsroom started cracking up and asked Brian how often he has to glue feathers on things! Brian then turns, and glares into the camera and states, "about once or twice a month!"

 

Fact: Look at this excerpt from an internet chat Kamal had on June 2, 2002 at wsvn.com.

Rumor: Both are known to be openly gay along with anchorman Craig Stevens of Channel 7 News who said he lived in Miami Shores, as if he was implying something.

 

Fact: When was the last time Norcross or Kamal mentioned something about their families during a hurricane? Noe, Mayfield and Steadham always mention something about their families when a huge storm approaches.

 

My Opinion: Don't you see the way Kamal highlights objects on the screen? His hands make movements like a gay man. Which has even caused my mother who hadn't heard of these rumors to say, "He makes hand movements and sometimes talks like a gay person."

 

 

 

Cape, I hope that your investigation proves all these rumors false.

 

You might wanna call the stations and ask to speak to each of them personally and ask, because if they were open they would say yes. BTW I have called TV stations and spoken to high profile people like Steve Shapiro and Joe Rose.

ive talked to frank forte, jimmy cefalo and guy rawlings.

 

even if their were rumors about those dudes (which there arent) i cant even imagine asking them or anyone if they were gay.

I am not going to investigate this because as I know it, it is true, but I haven't seen it officially confirmed by either station so I cannot allow it as anything else but rumors on this board.
