September 11, 200421 yr cabs gave up on it. i would rather see him dive for the ball and miss than quit on the ball and let it basically goto the wall. he dives and misses JP is still there to back him up and the 3 runs still score. he goes all out and dives for it, maybe he catches it. but what can you do now? mota pitched like crap. rudy pitched like crap. you cant use mando in every situation, maybe you bring him in the 8th inning, i dont know, i guess you can.....but why do we just rip jack when we lose and fail to pat him on the back when we are winning 9 in a row, just out of curiousity? gotta win tomorrow now. absolute must win, and the next two in chicago also.

UGHH.
September 11, 200421 yr One of the worst losses of the season, probably the worst. I haven't actually got teary eyed after a loss since I was 6. Did take a nice 30 minute nap afterwards though :confused MUST WIN TOMORROW

September 11, 200421 yr When I saw the ball come off Lee's bat I thought 'great, he didn't get all of it, should be a fly out.' I think Cabrera could have gotten it if he got a good jump, but he ran pretty swiftly after it until he saw it was out of his reach.
September 11, 200421 yr Don't worry guys. There is still 20+ games and we are only 2.5 games behind. I don't know why everyone is so sad. The Marlins just lost. A loss is a loss and there's always tomorrow. :marlins
