Penny may be gone by July......

Featured Replies

Just a little tidbit, Boston is making alot of noise about Penny, and yesterday the word was the Mets are now very interested. Dont know if any deal will come down but I wouldnt be surprised if he isnt hear after July.

I don't wanna see Penny go. The guy is inconsistant and stubborn, but can flat out pitch...

I don't know about "Flat out" pitch...

he uses his fastball to much...

I think I stress the most that he relies on that fastball too much. But when he mixes it up with that 12-6 curve, he's damn hard to hit.

It is true that we have recieved numerous offers for Brad, but have not acknowledged them yet. As long as we believe this team is competitive, we will not trade him. We have had several inquiries for Brad, which makes us flattered to have such a talent on the roster, but we would like to keep him in our rotation. We have recieved offers from the Reds, Cardinals, Astros, Red Sox, Blue Jays, ect. All have been declined, but evidently still available. We are keeping an open mind, but currently have no intention of trading him.

I hope they dont trade Penny but i got to see for who first. Penny could really Imerge into an All star in the future. I hope if we do trade him that he doesnt become a "willis" for the BoSox. :D

dawg31 I feel your pain, you feel never got any love down here. Its true Lee, Castillo and Penny are the ones talk about the most in trades. I wish nothing but the best and hope someday he becomes that player you hope he can be. ;)
