TheMothman
Game 1 today was a tough loss for us. But im realizing that the reason they traded us this guy was because he sucks. Instead of helping our bullpen hes making it worse. Seems that everytime hes 1 out from getting out of the inning they hit a homerun on him. :mad :
jonnylons
Yeah, I am disappointed too. I was shocked when we got him because I thought that was a great pick up for us (who did we trade by the way? I wasnt able to keep up with that at the time). Just didnt have good location. Neither did Pavs either...
Ramp
we didnt trade for him signed him off waivers
rferry
He had cleared waivers and released, we signed him as a free agent. It was good pickup, a groundball pitcher who throws strikes. Still I don't know if having this many relievers is a good thing or not. Our offense is piss poor, and if a starter is pulled early it's very very very unlikely we can come back to win anyway. I guess it's better than wasting Bump, Perisho and Seanez in mop-up appearances although Seanez looked a bit rusty last time out.

flasportsfan88
yea, he lost it 560398 I think theres something wrong, i meen his Era from 2001-2003 was 2.80, I say sign him after this year, maybe hes having arm trouble or maybe missing his pitching coach, who knows, but I just dont think he went from great to horrible just like that because of his talent. rferry
A lot of relievers jump follow a good year with an awful year then another good year then disappointing, then average, etc. It's hard to be consistent as reliever if you're in a set role like closer or lefty specialist. Mets_bs
Sgt. Tackleberry is finished, surprisingly the Mets saw that and raped Houston in the Hidalgo trade. But it's obvious, he's got nothing left.

miami15
Why is Chad Fox worst pitcher of the year? Please explain. 561158 He was terrific down the stretch last year, but for some strange reason has not contributed at all this year. :confused Maybe that's what he means, though based on performance it's either Bump or Oliver.
