Florida RHP A.J. Burnett, who missed his turn in the rotation Friday because of elbow inflammation, threw lightly Saturday and said he felt good. He might be available to pitch as early as Tuesday.

There we go. Pitch Dontrelle on 3 days rest for the 2nd game of the double header, and then AJ gets his start on Tuesday.

From today's Yahoo! Sports Game Recap:

Marlins RHP A.J. Burnett, sidelined with elbow inflammation, threw in the bullpen for 10 minutes and felt discomfort toward the end. The setback will delay the return of Burnett, who has already missed one turn in the rotation. ... Florida RHP David Weathers will make his first start since 1998 in Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs.

The Marlins need AJ. They can't lose that many games now...I know that AJ is probably trying to recover as fast as he can because we need to get him back as soon as possible. I don't trust so many people to be pitching now for the Marlins because the Marlins need real good performances out of their starting pitchers. Its a shame that were not going to have AJ.
