Ever Pull an All Nighter?

Featured Replies

I think I am tonight...

10:40 am - Sport Law test

I'm not very prepared for it, and I think that it is going to be a bitch. It's going to be a long night of looking at this computer screen and many case briefs... :confused

I did it a couple times last fall for big anatomy tests, but haven't done it since. I'm just a slacker. I guess all nighters are good motivation or something along those lines. Talk about last minute.

I guess it wasn't an all nighter because I didn't spend the night studying, but last fall I got about 10 minutes of sleep before my Finance and Managerial Accntg finals. I aced both. I think at that point you get so tired that you become hyped up...not fun driving though.

Man, when I pulled all nighters last year my head felt like cement after I got out of my tests...You don't feel tired all night, and then BAM, it just hits you. The days blur together...good stuff.

I haven't had to do that yet. I try to keep my study habits somewhat healthy so I don't end up with all nighters.

I get too little sleep as it is.

I've pulled all nighters to work on huge papers. Not for a test yet, but I'm only in Sophomore year so classes really haven't been that hard for me.

I pull all nighters when NOT studying, so... You can see how I operate. I've also become smarter in my study habits making them LESS necessary, but I still put some stuff off. All-nighters are usually always midterm to finals type of behavior, but if I really want I can pull one whenever.

last time i did an all-nighter was working on some 7 page final last spring that i realized i needed to start over the night before it was due. stayed up all night and took a brief nap before waking up and continuing to work on it until late afternoon the next day. got a bunch of other similar stories. i consider myself the ultimate procrastinator.

i cant really remember pulling an all-nighter studying. closest i could think of was a huge grammar test i had also in the spring. i spent whole days studying for it and even missed a couple of classes but didnt spend all night doing it.

thanks to some adherol, Ive pulled many an all-nighter

gotta love them drugz

Did it...one thing though...due to the fact that class was cancelled on Monday, WE HAD NO FREAKIN' TEST!

It's been moved to Friday. I'm very prepared though.

My first one was in 6th grade for a science fair project I hadn't done.

Only a couple since though.

i stock up on caffiene, candy and some ephedra (only outside of baseball season) and do all nighters. i havent done em in a while cuz im just takin mostly art classes now. but yea im good with all nighters. in finals week sometimes i do 2 straight all nighters. my motivation is just that after its over i sleep al i want. that time i slept for like 38 hrs str8 . ppl thought i was dead yo lol

pulling one tonight

well not really but ive been studying since 10AM ... till now and its 11:19pm

im just taking one of my many breaks ... ill probably be studying till 2-3

I hate starting to study a day before a test

My first one was sports related...freshman year....6OT's....Flyers-Penguins during finals time at college. Wanted to study after the game which quickly became 4AM.....

I'd say I pulled about 15-20 of them...Love doin them especially with friends. Tryin to keep each other awake with shots of alcohol and blows to the head.

are blows to the head and alcohol good things when youre trying to remember things?

this wasnt an all nighter in the true sense but i did stay in the dark room from 11 Am to midnight last wednesday working on some pictures in order to avoid having to go during the weekend with a possible hurricane, well that and i was really enjoying that stuff. they were due monday.

Actually, pretty much anything is good as long as you do the same thing you did while you were studying while you take the test.
