Said his guts would take him only five innings and then there would be no relief. We score 25 runs in three days and come out losers. What's wrong with this picture? Let's stop playing seasonal Fantasy baseball and get the job done now. We are past due facing reality, and we do not have to trade Lowell to get from here to there!
June 29, 200323 yr this was a biggest pitching failure giving up 45 runs in 3 games, but not surprising. the sox have the best offense in the majors according to espn. they are built for winning at fenway. considering that this has been their worst performance coming at halfway, i think they were expected to do this sooner or later.

Where are all the members who so vehemently defended Penny over the last few weeks, saying he was having a "career" year, that he was a number #1 waiting to happen and all that. Penny is, at best, a # 4 or 5 starter, and that is on a good day. It has become obvious that he will not learn how to pitch on anyone's schedule but his own. And I, for one, am sick and tired of waiting for him to come around and start learning. Package his a** up with D. Lee and get some propsects or decent role players for them. And speaking of D. Lee, Captain irrelevant came through again today, blasting a 2 run job after the game had been decided. Maybe I haven't mentioned it in awhile, but D. Lee sucks!!!!
