July 2, 200322 yr for the sake of humoring u....I became a Marlins fan because I loved baseball and was ecstatic that baseball had come to my home state of Florida. Spring training for the Marlins was held in my county, and their class A team was held in my county as well. It was natural for me to be a fan...everyone was. I just stuck it out after 97.
