October 14, 200422 yr has Bob Schieffer been doing well the whole debate? seems to be doing a great job.
October 14, 200422 yr Obviously im biased, but Id be embarassed if I was a Bush supporter right now. Just the way he pounds on the podium in order to get a point across is pretty pathetic. His wife speaks better English than him? Well, I certainly hope so. Maybe she should stand in for him at these debates.

I don't think it's a shocker to any Bush supporter that he's not a great speaker, especially when it's not a prepared speech. That's part of his charm, apparently...
October 14, 200422 yr Kerry firm, resolute, strong and specific on what needs to be done domestically. Bush couldnt make him a tax and spend liberal. Its what they are trying their damndest to do and it didnt get accomplished here. His strength is reinforced hence he wins.
October 14, 200422 yr Author My favorite part of the debate was the differing views on faith and how it works in their lives because it solidifies my views on the conservative right. They are more concerned about who is having sex with who than helping people in need.

October 14, 200422 yr The media is saying it was too close. I don't know what debate they were watching at all... I agree with Shamrock that I give the win to Kerry hands down.
October 14, 200422 yr Bush bumbled badly in the opening of his last remarks. 591452[/snapback] I must have missed that part. Wha' happened?
October 14, 200422 yr Author Before he mentioned the painting he tried to name the painter...or something...who knows.
October 14, 200422 yr "You know, there's a lot of talk about how to keep the economy growing. We talk about fiscal matters. But perhaps the best way to keep jobs here in America and to keep this economy growing is to make sure our education system works. I went to Washington to solve problems. And I saw a problem in the public education system in America. They were just shuffling too many kids through the system, year after year, grade after grade, without learning the basics." --- Dubya Thanks Mr. President... I guess all I needed was to improve my reading comprehension to go find a job. I knew I should have read Dr. Seuss if I wanted to apply for an IT job... :plain
