Swamp is #4. I remember a poll a couple years ago...the Swamp was rated as the loudest stadium in college football...Jordan-Hare was #2 (Auburn), and Neyland (Tennessee) was #3.

 

They havent done the top 3 yet, but I am guessing Michigan, Tennessee, and Ohio State will be in there.

 

Florida (on 1-10 scale) got a 10 on atmosphere, 8.5 on history, 9.5 tradition, 10 fans, 7.5 architecture (haha, funny because UF has one of the top architecture programs in the country). I'm glad we got 10s in atmosphere and fans...cuz that is darn true!

 

I like the quote given by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution: "The loudest, most obnoxious and notorious piece of real estate in all of college football."

 

Haha...glad I got season tix...been goin to games since I was a tyke...I remember us losing to Memphis State (now called Memphis) in 88 I believe.

I am shocked FSU made it. I dont even think it's the best in the ACC (Clemson's Death Valley). Oh well. Anyone notice that of those 7 stadiums, 5 are SEC, 6 are from the South?

of course FSU made it, they had a 50 + game winning streak at home until my canes got a hold of them in 2001. in my opinion, Michigan and Tennesse will be in the top3, Notre Dame, Ohio State or Washington (im serious) could also be in it. about the Southern thing, we're crazy about football down here, especially college football.

Oh I know (about Southern football). Just pointing it out. I doubt Washington will make it. I dont see how Notre Dame could make it over Ohio State, Michigan, or Tennessee. Neither of those 3 teams can be left off the top 10! I dont see how. Tennessee is a nasty stadium, but huge, and is right on the Tennessee River (that Vol Navy is cool). Ive been to a few games there (Gators beat em everytime except for that dang 98 game...darn that Collins Cooper).

Even though I hate hte program.

I still cant get over Doak Campbell. They dont even sell out all their games! Their fans are weak. I didnt check to see what their fan rating was. I got a friend who goes to FSU. He says if they arent winning at halftime, the students clear out.

All I have to say Memorial Stadium still has it's sell out streak going even though Nebraska has struggled this past year. Watch out for Jammal Lord he is going to have a breakout year.

i know Wahington probably wont make it in the top 3, but that place is incredibly loud. i remember UW-UM from a couple of years and the noise is all the commentators could talk about, they kept measuring the decibals throghout the whole game, i doubt it was like that just for that game. it shouldve been in the top 10 at least.

the orange bowl should be at the COMPLETE bottom of this list. please, they cant even sell out all their games!

you have to be the biggest homer ever. UM fans arent even in the BALLPARK to any of thse schools followers, hell, even FSU, and the gators. gainesville eats and sleeps gator football.

plus, that is the ugliest thing ive ever seen. you obviously havent seen the entrance to the swamp, its really pretty. UF is packed as it is, but on football days, it is insane. not just football, but basketball is also pure mayhem in gator land. im sure FSU is just as crazy. UM can never have that following, thats why they can never join the SEC, and why i believe moving to the acc is such a bad idea. all those schools are big schools in colege towns.

 

sorry for the ranting, i just hate UM with a passion, hell, im known in my school for being a huge gator.
