Who should replace ron zook at florida?

As a canes fan, I'd like anyone but Spurrier at the helm of the gators.

I could see his return fooling some recruits into thinking the program is once again a title contender.

Urban Meyer...I'd be more than pleased with him as head coach for the Gators...the guy is a winner wherever he goes, and is an offensive genius.

Gators would definetely be best off with Meyer. Offensive genius, young, SOS-like except without the implosions.

Since I'm going to FSU, I would like to see Spurrier back so that our games against Florida won't be as painful for Gator fans. :thumbup

norm chow

I like that choice. That's a name that hasn't been brought up yet.

Norm Chow would add instant street cred.

Urban Meyer.....knows how to win. Knows how to score. Knows how to manage a team (unlike Zook, he has head coach experience)

I live in Gainesville so let me give my 2 cents. Most people around here are screaming for Spurrier. But I don't think he'll be offered the job, a job I believe he covets.

But there is another name in the mix. He may not be available, but there are whispers of Butch Davis. If he is fired, or even allowed to interview at the end of the season, I think he may be tempted to coming back to college.

Of that list only Meyer is a strong possibility.
