You put smileys and thumbs-up because he doesn't want to start?

Nope to tell a.j. he aint gonna start. :)

The link says "to be announced July 6."

For both the NL and AL.

Like I have already said, these are not official.

The teams are selected today, hence tonights "Official" Selection Show

It looks like someone at ESPN.com had the rosters and posted them early, then realized and took them off. They look like the real thing though.

No, I think me and the Herald cooked-up a good theory. Pudge goes instead of Alex, and then Boone goes for LaRue...

I think everyone is hitting better than LaRue. He's crap. One good season doesn't give you All-Star credibility, but twelve do.

its not a life time achievement award..... its a 3 month award

But you can't say credibility from the players, managers, and league in general don't play a factor. Besides, LaRue hasn't done anything reletively good this season. At least Pudge has brought himself back to his All-Star caliber self...

LaRue has been pretty clutch for the Reds....

I cant really say much because I havent watched them that much

The above list is a hoax, and here's why.

There are 32 names on it for AL & NL - BUT only 31 will be announced 2nite. The 32nd player will be selected by fan on-line vote.

Yes, the list looks pretty reasonable, but we really won't know until the ESPN show 2nite.

And Pudge hasn't been clutch for us?

You can't make that arguement...

Do the math - if the 32 posted are right, the fans will add one by on-line vote. That's 33. But the roster is limited to 32.

QED.

listen, Pudge deserves it over LaRue but the Reds need someone and the OF is too crowded already

LIKE I SAID:

Alex Gonzalez does not make it for Florida, and Pudge does. THEN, take LaRue out, and put in Aaron Boone.

why doesnt Alex deserve it now?

because of a 1.5 week slump?

bulls***

Never said Alex doesn't deserve it.

BUT, at this point, it would make much more sense to take Pudge over LaRue. And the only way you can do that is by putting in a more deserving Red player, Boone, for Alex.

It is if he's going over Pudge or Lo Duca!

Boone deserves to go MUCH more than LaRue, and if Alex doesn't go and Pudge does to make it fairer, than so be it...

I PROMISE you LaRue WILL NOT make it over Pudge. Boone will over Alex.

If I'm wrong, I'll eat crow like you and SlapHands...
