It allows the Marlins to significantly upgrade the offense. Looking at their last 3 years, Castillo has averaged a .741 OPS and Lee has averaged an .855 OPS. 'Nuff said.

With what you suggest, our D might be the worst in MLB. You're on crack if you think giving up Castillo and a prospect for Lee would help us out.

That's the perfect age. Right in the middle of Lee's peak. We'd get the best production out of him.

 

 

Now only if Lee batted lefthanded, the WSox/Brewers would chip in a reliever/SP prospect, and we had a better alternative than Damion Easley.
