July 8, 200323 yr Thought I got away with something when I managed to vote 3 times for Castillo. Now, after Senior Moment has passed, discover we can vote 25 times. Trust my fellow Marlins fans are brighter than me. We have Big Market fans to compete against. Take a few minutes and vote 25 times! (Easiest access for me was LINK cited on Marlins' Official site.
July 8, 200323 yr Admin, you should put a link to the voting on the MarlinsBaseball.com front page, so all those non-forum members that come can see it...
July 8, 200323 yr Admin, you should put a link to the voting on the MarlinsBaseball.com front page, so all those non-forum members that come can see it... I did, look at the right side of the page. I also added it to the top of the forums now.
July 8, 200323 yr After I vote 2 or 3 times, I enter the correct validation key and an error occurs saying "Enter correct validation key before continuing." Anyone else having this problem? Its happened on 3 different occassions now. Benito's winning now just cause I can't vote!
July 8, 200323 yr Why the hell would Benito be winning? These fans a SOO DUMB! Either Luis or Geoff need to be in the AS game...
July 8, 200323 yr Author After I vote 2 or 3 times, I enter the correct validation key and an error occurs saying "Enter correct validation key before continuing." Anyone else having this problem? Its happened on 3 different occassions now. Benito's winning now just cause I can't vote! Haven't had this problem. Have voted 22 times. After registration, new "validation key" comes up which you must enter before submitting selection and then again before subsequent selections. Sure you know this. If you are on marlinsbaseball.com link, maybe try Marlins Official site link. Don't want to lose your votes!
July 8, 200323 yr Why the hell would Benito be winning? again.... i think he was joking about Benito winning
July 8, 200323 yr OK, I am a pretty smart guy. But that didn't look like sarcasm... Oh, well.... well it was........
July 8, 200323 yr -MLB.com Varitek is followed in the AL balloting race by veteran DH/first baseman Frank Thomas, who is hoping fans will make him an All-Star in his home ballpark, U.S. Cellular Field. Then comes Giambi, followed by A's outfielder Eric Byrnes and Angels catcher Bengie Molina. In the National League, Santiago has the lead, but the big news of the day was the replacement of Cubs outfielder Corey Patterson with Pirates outfielder Kenny Lofton. Patterson is out for the season because of a knee injury sustained in Sunday's game, and so far Lofton has some ground to make up in the 32nd-man vote. Behind Santiago in the vote totals are Brewers outfielder Geoff Jenkins, Marlins second baseman Luis Castillo, Expos shortstop Orlando Cabrera and Lofton. Jenkins helped his case with an RBI double in the first inning Monday night against Pittsburgh, in the second game of the day that showcased two of the 10 players fans are considering. :o
July 8, 200323 yr I sat here on my comp. the other night for 30 minutes..voting for Luis and Thomas to make the last spot
July 8, 200323 yr He has to make fans take notice if he wants in. A web gem on SC would be nice. Marlins never get Web Gems or attention.....The media hates us
July 8, 200323 yr Yea, I can name COUNTLESS web gems that haven't been on BBTN. Most recently Miguel Cabrera's diving catch in Philly...
July 8, 200323 yr I must admit though, the last few nights as soon as I've turned on BBTN they're talking fish. Last night they had a little expose' on Frenchy
July 8, 200323 yr Very true. BUT, I and many others think we are near if not the best defensive team in baseball, and nobody has any idea that we are. It's only between us, the Mariners, and the Cards, and I honestly think we take the cake. BTW: Has anyone noticed how Preston is racking up the Web Gems?
July 8, 200323 yr And yet, I don't. JP has been everything and 100x more than expected. Same as Preston there, but I think each team really got a good deal in this trade. Except the Braves. They got srcewed.

July 8, 200323 yr As long as the Braves got screwed, I don't care what happened. I love JP also but Preston was my guy. Just hope he keeps doing well in CO (just not against us)
July 8, 200323 yr Just hope he keeps doing well in CO (just not against us) Cliffy SUCKS against us, and Preston is officially a Marlin KILLER.
