Marlins gambit a dangerous one

Featured Replies

You remember all the idiots on here who thought the Marlins were going to make the playoffs? God they were wrong, they are dumb and full of s*** too huh?

Just because people are wrong doesn't make them bad people. Anyway, if you are so good at it, why don't you go get a job at ESPN, they must be desperate to get rid of these schlubs since they fail on the job so often and so horribly, you might be able to save ESPN. Go now! Please for the sake of sporting news

There is no way you can save ESPN. I never said they were bad people. I just find it hypocritical that you just these writers who are full of themselves most of the time and yet you can't trust the people that are actually doing the dealing.

So you trust Loria and Beinfest whole heartedly? I think you should go to some old Expos fans, see how they felt about Loria and his son-in-law.

Owners will always say what it takes to appease their public. They like money and they like the money people get them. So of course they are going to say they are trying to get better and looking into things and in the end they can say they tried but it just didn't go their way.

I would rather trust people who are at least somewhat impartial because they are outside of the organization and aren't trying to win me over for them.

So who do you believe?

Ofcourse you can't trust an owner. the only guy you can trust in the stadiu negotiations are Burgess. That's why when I heard his comment about the deal being very near I said, "That is HUGE!" This guy is the few people in city hall you can trust.

Steve Shapiro: The same fans that say they won't contribute money to the stadium are the same idiots that jumped on the bandwagon in 2003.

Mike DiPasquale: I think the stadium will be done. So Goodman and his showgirls and Elvis could go somewhere else.
