December 23, 200421 yr I've always kinda thought Brad Pitt's acting abilities were underrated, girls love him cuz of his looks but he's a great actor (See: Snatch, Seven, Ocean's 11 and 12, Fight Club, the list goes on and on). William DaFoe comes to mind as someone the kiddies aren't too familiar with. Ed Norton is also a damn good actor but gets looked down upon, I suppose since he usually plays bad guys (American History X, Italian Job). Jason Stratham (sp), now that guy rules. Overrated, I've always disliked Tom Cruise ever since after MI:1. His earlier stuff is good but I just think he really overacts now. Sean Penn bugs me too, what the hell has he done.
December 23, 200421 yr I wouldn't say he's the "bad guy" in AHX...he's an in-depth character with a history and a future. Kinda plays sort of the same role in Fight Club.
December 23, 200421 yr ive always been a huge fan of Johnny Depp and thought he was extremely underrated, up until the whole world started kissing his ass after "Pirates of the Carribean". this isnt even his best work by far, yet he gets the most recognition of his life for it. to me, his best performances are in Ed Wood, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Edward Scissorhands and Donnie Brasco. more underrated (in terms of acting ability, not popularity)- Jude Law, Mark Wahlberg, Brad Pitt, Alfred Molina, Jeff Goldblum, Michael Madsen, Albert Finney, Val Kilmer, Jeff Bridges, Vince Vaughn, Gael Garcia Bernal, Robin Williams, Kevin Kline. as far as overrated, i cant think of many more than Ashton Kutcher and Ben Affleck.

OMG...that was some incredible acting! Edward Norton is definitely underrated too...His performance in Primal Fear was awesome!! Overrated: Vin freakin Diesel...and Keanu Reeves (I CANT STAND THE WAY HE TALKS...OMG!!!!!!! :mad )
