Da Bulls!

He had a core of Nash, Amare Stoudamire, and Shawn Marion...all all-stars....Skiles doesnt have even close to the talent D'Antoni does.

Much easier conference however and he does have a very deep team anyway.

A very deep team of.....

5 Rookies

5 players 3 years or under.

The "elder statesmen" Antonio Davis, Othella Harrington, and Eric Piatowski couldnt even start on any other teams...

Again...The Suns have had success te past few years and have made the playoffs...they had a good core/awesome core of young talent and they signed an all-star in the off-season.

The Bulls have been absolute ass for the past 6 years and didnt bring in anyoen besides their draft picks...that is the better coaching job.

and I would argue the Central division is tougher than the Pacific division.

Lets split hairs here...... :plain

Since the Bulls are not in 1st or 2nd in the Central anyway and wont win it. Would you argue that the East is better than the West too?

It does not matter that they are rookies. They are good players regardless. They have depth. He is doing a great job coaching but is it such a mindboggling thought that Mike D'Antoni might be the favorite and someone other than a Bulls fan might find what he has done to be more impressive? The Suns had some good players last year and still only had 29 wins. To go from 29 wins to best record in the NBA is amazing also. Is it such a horrible idea for someone to think that is deserving of COY?

The COY candidates will probably be Skiles, D'Antoni, McMillan, and Silas. Out of that group you have to go with Skiles.

Why no Van Gundy in there? He has the best record in the East. He has to be considered.

The Pacific only has 2 more wins than the Central.

The Warriors and Clips couldnt beat the Pacers in the Central...

The numbers are waaaay skewed by Phoenix's record...top to bottom the Central is better than the Pacific.

He got Shaq...that isnt much of a coahing job. Shaq improves a team by 10-15 wins easily.

It isnt...but D'Antoni is the product of bad coaching last season....

Plus Skiles coaching gave the bulls that depth...i

What difference does it make. The West is better than the East. Who cares. The Suns have a better record than any team in any conference. Bottom line.

HUH? No you're just arguing for the sake of argument.

And I would say the West probably is better but not by much. The gap is closing.

Its pointless to argue with someone who is close minded. As usual. I should have cut the losses when you said Curry who overall has declined in production will win most improved player. That should have been sign enough.

And The Fan ends with personal insults. Way to go buddy. You're cool

Its not a personal insult. Its a truthful comment pointing out how much homerism there is and why there will never be a legit conversation. Sorry if the truth hurts. If you think that was a personal insult, then grow thicker skin.

how can you penalize D'Antoni or Van Gundy because they have studs on their teams?

as of right now Downtown D'Antoni(yes i just gave him that nickname) is the coach of the year

You call him close-minded but begin this whole thing by saying there is NO WAY Skiles wins Coach of the Year? Pot meet kettle.

Thank you. I have no clue how you can take that away from them either. I thought it was the overall coach of the year award, not who can do more with less award.

If you don't think Skiles is far and away coach of the year, bringing a team that was awful last year, is totally young now, and started 0-9 this year, to a playoff birth.....than no offense but you not very smart.

Ok, there is a slim chance he wins. Happy now?

if the Bulls get the 1 or 2 seed, we can talk... until then, its gotta be Double D

ok smart guy, I said Skiles should be on the short list. That's not homerism, that's common sense.

Doesn't a guy that does more with less go a better coaching job?? It's a lot harder to win without great players....

Once again a Bulls fan thinks he is far and away coach of the year. I am shocked.

Memphis was a 6 seed last year and Hubie got coach of the year. But I guess its just for 1 or 2 seeds.
