February 26, 200521 yr Wow, sounds like it was a nice win this evening. Hopefully we take care of the Bobcats tomorrow, to go 3-1 in the 4 game, 5 day stretch would be excellent.

February 26, 200521 yr Didn't get a chance to see the game so I'm watching the replay.. Tyson was just a beast in the third quarter. His defense and blocked shots and rebounding was just stellar. Four charges drawn by Othella too. The Bulls intensity was awesome.. Like Passion said, I really love this years team and the way they play.
February 26, 200521 yr It's just so much of a "team" really rare in this day in age in the NBA. How many times would a guy like Gordon realize him coming off the bench propels this team better than when he starts? How many teams can go this deep and have so many different lineups and not miss a beat? Its so impressive. Scott Skiles COY Ben Gordon ROY Ben Gordon 6th MOY Eddy Curry Most Improved Player
February 26, 200521 yr ..Pax GM of the Year too! I love the way they play.. their so deep and they all get a lot of minutes so each of the guys feel like they have something to offer. I love the defense, ball movement, unselfishness. And I think Nocioni might be my favorite player on the team.. though it might be hard for him to pass Hinrich.. (and Reiner of course )
February 27, 200521 yr Good game.. Bulls win 94-90. Great game by AD.. but Tyson Chandler was a beast in the 4th quarter.. the reason we won this game. A season high 5 games over .500. 29-24 Time to go get drunk
February 27, 200521 yr Boy the Bulls looked awful, but it's a road win, and i'd imagine they were feeling the effects of 4 games in 5 nights, so it's all good. 29-24, 29-15 since that horrid 0-9 start. Good times

Gordon has a shot but will still have to beat out tough competition for both.
February 27, 200521 yr No way Skiles wins? I beg to differ.. He is definitely on the short, short list. I think Gordon should win 6th Man of the Year.. No one means more to his team than Gordon. I'm not sure if Eddy will win most improved because I think that award has Bobby Simmons' name on it. Pax for GM of the Year.

However, he was also the coach of that 0-9 team right? I just dont think many 5-7 playoff seeds have their team win coach of the year. Maybe I am wrong, but how many coaches actually have? I mean the Heat were 0-7 last year and finished above 500 but Van Gundy never really had a shot if I recall. Also, for Curry. He averaged 14.7 and 6.2 in 29.5mpg last year. This year he is at 15.6 and 5.4 in 29.1mpg with blocks, ast going down while to up a drop. I dont see him winning any most improved award. Someone like LeBron or Dwyane Wade has improved alot more.
February 27, 200521 yr um, Hubie Brown won coach of the year last year and they were a 6 seed. There is some good competition out there but I think if the Bulls make the playoffs, Skiles should be coach of the year. Everyone had the Bulls finishing dead last in the entire NBA, for the most part.
February 27, 200521 yr I doubt Curry will win it, so I agree...that was just homerism...he still should be top 5 for the award. (Guys like Lebron and DWade were already borderline all-stars last year). They might be a 5-7 seed, but they were absolutely putrid last year...this team has been a joke since 98...they have gone through 3 coaches and have never even sniffed the playoffs...this year Skiles has them in a position to possibly have a home court game in the playoffs....that is amazing. As for the 0-9 start...this team had a ton of new players and like 4 rookies....they struggled in the beginning...he coached them out of it. A losing streak doesnt define the season. The COY candidates will probably be Skiles, D'Antoni, McMillan, and Silas. Out of that group you have to go with Skiles.

The Suns finished only 6 gsmes ahead of the Bulls last year at 29-53. Now they are just outright amazing at an NBA leading 43-13. Unless a major breakdown he wins it in a runaway.
February 27, 200521 yr He had a core of Nash, Amare Stoudamire, and Shawn Marion...all all-stars....Skiles doesnt have even close to the talent D'Antoni does.

After posting those stats I did, how can you say Curry should even get top 5 consideration? 2. Do you really think Skiles will beat out D'Antoni and should beat him out. Without being a Bulls fan. D'Antoni has the best record in the NBA and the Suns finished 1 game ahead of the Clippers last year for worst record in the West. Noway does Skiles deserve it more. Honestly, no way.

February 27, 200521 yr The Bulls have been in the gutter for 6 years. Skiles first full season as the head coach and the Bulls are buying into his system and winning. They have no all-stars. Give him some respect. He will get first place votes and no one is running away with anything.

However, there you Bulls fans are failing to see why D'Antoni is considered a favorite for COY. We will see in the end who wins.
