A lot of people would freak out about having a bomber in a commercial. It's a sensitive subject considering the current political climate.

The commercial is fake, it was made by two film students from the VWVortex forums. It's a popular thing over there to make fake/funny commercials using your VW cars, it's just this one was very well done.

 

VW is actually suing both of the people that made the commercial.
