Posted February 13, 200519 yr You know you want to hear that very cool song or artist on CapeFish1, this is the place to tell me about it. If I agree that they should be on, I will get them on CapeFish1.
February 13, 200519 yr Author if you agree? lol 684477 I won't play much Pop. It will be Rock mostly. Understand?
February 13, 200519 yr Author what kind of rock? meaning, what bands do you like? 684480 This isn't as much about my personal preference as a place for the members of this board who like Rock to get their chance at doing what Zeta could not. They can shape this station to their tastes and pleasures. Right now it is just playing the basic stuff like Good Charlotte, U2, Linkin Park, Korn, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. If you have a song or a band you really like that Rocks I am willing to add it. But some consider some Pops artists as rock like Ryan Cabrera for example. I won't play the Pop guys because you can get them from other sources.
February 13, 200519 yr Author Recently played (since launch of station): Green Day Private Ale Hoobastank Crawling In The Dark The Offspring Baghdad Sum 41 Slipping Away New Found Glory My Friends Over You The Cranberries Linger Sign On Song Blink 182 The Party Song
February 13, 200519 yr Author BTW, the station has 2 versions. One allows foul language, the other does not. It is your option, enjoy!

February 14, 200519 yr so this is new rock? 684820 Yep, most new rock sucks. :plain Give me some Who, Floyd, Zeppelin, Dylan.
February 14, 200519 yr Are you just trying to play the big name artists from the 90s and early 2000s? Just as a suggestion you might want to consider adding bands that are a bit more regional. I don't know if that's something you can or would be willing to do. I only offer the suggestion because the newer stuff isn't something that most people have a significant appreciation for and while some regional bands have been around a while, and have very large fanbases within their primary marketing sector they haven't gotten exposure most elsewhere. Bands like Piebald, Guster, Dropkick Murphys, etc. (New England for example) I don't even know whether or not Flogging Molly is all that popular in South Florida haven't not really stayed there all that long in the last few years. Regardless, I would think that bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, and Jane's Addiction are essential for another alternative rock station.
February 14, 200519 yr Author This is going to be a general Rock format. It will have some that go back to the 70s or 80s every once in a while, but will feature the top Rock features most of the time.
