Jason Schmidt left the SF game early....

Giants fans must be praying right now

only 35 pitches from Penny so far :thumbup

he's doing good now, give him a break.

When I said a good OF in Hollandsworth am talking in comparison to playing Fox in the OF.

Brad Penny grounds out to 3B to start the bottom 3rd inning

When I said a good OF in Hollandsworth am talking in comparison to playing Fox in the OF.

he means that Fox should be playing SS

Hey, the D-Backs may be able to knock off the Giants, if so, could we see an easier Wildcard Race?

Fox shouldn't play SS when you have Sea Bass there. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Juan Pierre is the batter.....

ahead 3-0.....

walks on 4 straight...

So far JP has seen 8 balls and 0 strikes.

It depends on how the Giants' starting pitching holds up, outside of Schmidt it has been an Achilles' heal

That's what I'm saying Juanky. If the Giants go on a losing streak because of the pitching problem, and Arizona overtakes them, we could have a better chance at the Wild Card.

Luis Castillo, now 0 for his last 18, grounds into a force out....

JP out at 2nd

We're 4 games behind Arizona, and 9 games behind San Francisco. I think you're better off hoping Arizona falters rather than the Giants.

One more gone Final:

FINAL: NYM 4, ATL 7

FINAL: HOU 9, CIN 8

FINAL: STL 3, LA 1

TOP 9: COL 3, SF 5

It's a long season, I hope the entire west falters.
