Rick has only been fired once. He was fired by WSVN-7 and went to work with KHOU in Houston. However he shortly made up with 7's owner and returned until he left for MSNBC. He never did any work for Fox News other than on Fox's Network News Service (Every reporter at WSVN, WFOR, and WPLG in Miami work for the NNS). He left MSNBC for WTVJ. He did his talk show and it didn't do well so he left NBC for CNN in Atlanta.

Don't know much about him. As far as I can remember his name has been Al Sunshine. He is one of WCIX/WFOR's longest-tenured reporters.
