He's been hired and fired by all of the major cable networks by now. Fox News, CNN, MSNBC...

Rick has only been fired once. He was fired by WSVN-7 and went to work with KHOU in Houston. However he shortly made up with 7's owner and returned until he left for MSNBC. He never did any work for Fox News other than on Fox's Network News Service (Every reporter at WSVN, WFOR, and WPLG in Miami work for the NNS). He left MSNBC for WTVJ. He did his talk show and it didn't do well so he left NBC for CNN in Atlanta.

Actually, the Chief Meteorologist that set the foundation for those powerhouse years was former NBC6 Met. Roland Steadham.

But Kamal was there during their peak years. That's where he made a name for himself.
