July 22, 200322 yr Speaking of sponsorships...Good to see Bank of America jump on the bandwagon for a TV deal... Good to see Miccosoukee as well, although I don't care for the landing strip that now adorns the LF wall. I hadn't heard about anything with Bank of America... And we must have gotten a ton of money for "the landing strip"... Watch a game of Fox Crap Net and you'll notice that they bought the rights to overlay BOA graphics on in-game statistical graphics. And although I can't remember them now, I do recall that the same 3 commercials that usually run on PAX and FSN during the games in the first half (CHristian music radio till you puke, anyone?) have been supplanted by a couple of newer companies buying up time.
July 22, 200322 yr liar "The Vet" is sculpted in bushes outside, and the 76ers Arena is next door. As well as the Eagles training "bubble".
July 22, 200322 yr what site did you get that from? I swear to you I've been there. My dad is a Phillies fan (grew-up in Deleware) and for my 9th birthday he took me to a Marlins-Phillies game...

July 22, 200322 yr I've only been to away games. I've seen the marlins play the Devil Rays at Tropicana field 3 times.
July 22, 200322 yr I've always wanted to bring a TBS sign. The Braves Suck! :lol That's good stuff...
July 29, 200322 yr Author Well, we didn't win but it was still a good time being there. We picked up some seats 7th row behind the Braves bullpen before the game at a good price from some businessman who couldn't go. I spotted some other Marlins fans from across the field, but we were pretty much the only ones where we were sitting. I screamed and cheered at the top of my lungs, and got a little bit of heckling from the Braves fans, but it wasn't too bad. The crowd was fairly large, but quiet for the most part. They erupted though when Smoltz came out from the pen in the 9th to the Star Wars imperial tune. The stadium is amazing, even nicer than I thought it would be. I'll hopefully have some pics up from the game tomorrow.
July 29, 200322 yr ive never been to a marlins road game, but i really want to one day, hopefully Pacbell, that place looks incredible. on a side note, i do want to go to Yankee Stadium and Fenway park, no need to explain why. ive thought about going on a road trip where i would try to visit all 30 parks, but itll probably never happen because the cost for a trip like that must be huge

Didn't MasterCard do one of those 'priceless' commercials to that theme?
July 29, 200322 yr Oh man, who hasn't thought of doing a road trip like that? Didn't MasterCard do one of those 'priceless' commercials to that theme? yeah they did, those commercials were straight. the guys that won the contest to do that trip were incredibly lucky. right now on espn.com they're doing a similar tour describing all the stadiums as the guy gets to each
August 3, 200322 yr Author Here are a couple of the pics from the game I just put up. They're not the best, and most of my pictures at the game were on the regular camera, not the digital.
August 3, 200322 yr Good to see Miccosoukee as well, although I don't care for the landing strip that now adorns the LF wall. That has to be the ugliest advertisement ever it makes the wall look so bad. And who plays adult Teeball!!! :confused
