April 6, 200521 yr Sorry, but the guys who yelled during the Pope's moment of silence are just dicks.
April 6, 200521 yr I won't disagree with you there. Show a little respect, I mean I know you are excited about the team and the game, but come on!
April 6, 200521 yr It was more than I expected. I got there kind of late, I missed the whole 1st inning, so I didnt hear the Pope moment of silence. I also missed the Grand Slam. I loved the game though. You cant ask more than that. Some guy was really getting on my nerves though, yelling out "Sea Bass sucks, his offense makes me cry late at night."
April 6, 200521 yr This surpassed my expectations I was ready for Smoltz and Beckett to go out for atleast 7 innings but knocking him out in the 2nd was so much better. As for the pope thing I was all the way in the Fish Tank and I heard the guy yell and than the kid in front of me laughed so his dad smacked him right in the back of the head.
April 6, 200521 yr thats really tasteless. they were probably yankee fans... 730474 :plain
April 6, 200521 yr psh how could you NOT hear those guys yell? 730213 Pssh, i heard that too and I wasn't even at the game. I was watching it on TV.
April 6, 200521 yr thats really tasteless. they were probably yankee fans... 730474 I sat next to a few and enjoyed talking with them throughout the game. Yet when it came time for the moment of silence, they were as silent as can be. Don't bring yankee fans into this. :plain
April 6, 200521 yr The helicopter's flyover was pretty cool too. 730593 Yeah, that was so badass.
April 6, 200521 yr Pope: the guy sitting in front of me who yelled about the Pope was wearing a Braves' jersey and cap. . . . Mike Lowell's at bat in the 1st inning was a thing of beauty and, IMHO, he should get a ton of credit for setting up the GS. It was one hell of a two-out AB.

He got alot of great looks and fouled off some pitches before finally hitting that single. It really was sweet :thumbup
