July 24, 200323 yr First I would like to say gratz to the fish tonight, great when even though looper tried to throw it in the pooper lol. for those not used to my format I will tell you this evertime a line is in between text it is a totally differnt thought that I had to get off of my chest. Instead of starting 5-10 new topics I combine it into one for discussion. see new topic...get the idea... The Marlins have a week bench...yeah in the last 2 weeks they have had bench players hit clutch homeruns that decided a game. would another player be nice to add? Yes, but lets lay off the guys that are there. They are doing their job and doing it well! How long will it take before U2 (even though the poll says Uggy im sticking with my favorite) takes over the closer job. Looper was lights out awesome in the his second inning, but he stillk blew a nice lead. Do you really think a closer is more lax if they have more than a 1 or 2 run lead going into their turn? I mean shouldn't they be focused all the time. They are getting paid 800x's what I make and Im focussed at work. Everyone is talking about Getting Guillen from the Reds, or getting an ex-'97-marlin (Conine) to boost the moral of the area fans. Well this is what I'm thinking...the mets are sellers this year (Alomar, Benitez, and Burnitz) why not go after that dirty dog Clifford to fill that spot in Left Field? I mean it may cost us a mint, but wasn't Cliff a fan fav? Don't you think that would prove to the fans in So. Florida that they are here to stay? just a though. Conine is great. He was my fav player on the Marlins before they got Sheffield. Now I hate Gary and still theres Jeffy at the bottom of my heart. Still got that rookie card. Of course what else am I going to do with it sell it for $.50? Great win tonight the Marlins as of tonight have a winning record against the Braves. How many teams in the NL or AL for that matter can say that? Well in closing I would love for some replies to this topic I have loads of more thoughts, but I want to make sure I hold the interest of my fellow fish fans...untile next time peace out!

I've said I was from the Midwest before, but being from there I have kinda got the idea that Floridians come out for the STARS and Cliff is one of the biggest this side of Gary Sheffield.
