No love for Cabs' hustle?

According to Roxy and Dave, Cabrera never stopped running and scored easily in the 3rd. No stubbling around the bases. No stopping prematurely into third. No jogging it the entire way. Sure, he missed Cox's sign, but it's nice to see the kid show the effort.

Way to go Miggy!

Cox stinks. We've been saying that for two years. (Ever since we lost Ozzie.)

I'm glad Cabs "didn't see" the stop sign.

Have to agree with Chin on this.

On top of that, Cabs made it easy into home plate. Is not like it was a close play at the plate. Cox continues to be lost on 3rd

I have to agree with both of you. Cox is a horrible 3rd base coach. He cost us some games last year with his decisions.

I don't think any of you realize that Carlos Beltran if he didn't somersault, would've had Cabs out by a mile. And any of you who don't think Beltran has a strong arm, then I guess you don't watch very much baseball. In fact, the play was a lot closer then it should've been considering how Beltran threw it, but if that bounces after the mound, Cabs is out by a mile.

lots of CF do that to get even more on their throws home...I've seen Beltran, Andruw Jones, and even Preston Wilson do it

he somersaulted for a reason

I know which is why I said if the ball bounced after the mound, Beltran would've had him cold turkey.

I should've edited that out.

Ok and that is why I said in my post that I am glad it did work out for him because maybe it would not have. So,yes you have a point but it's an afterthought now.

It's all good! :)

Running through a stop fine should equal a fine. It has nothing to do with being safe or out, it has to do with following the rules.

I wonder how many of you when you run a business and give your workers orders will be as happy when they disobey your orders...no matter the results.

Its the first time it happened and he said he didn't see the stop sign....so be it. But it better not happen again :)
