Hotcorner
KC vs Minnesota. Click on the "Sweeney-Redmond collision" video link on this page: mlb Mike Sweeney was trying to score from 2nd in a tie game in the 9th inning. Redmond was waiting at home plate when Sweeney & the ball arrived at about the same time. Redmond got absolutely run over. I guess Mike lay there dazed for a moment & left the game with bruised ribs. Sweeney's run actually put KC ahead for the moment, but the A's tied in the bottom of the 9th, then won it in the 10th. Red's a trooper, hopefully he's okay. Iowa
Surprised Mike Sweeney didn't get hurt... He's probably one of the most underrated hitters in baseball, if he could just stay healthy for once. When was the last time he played 140 games I wonder?
