vinivedivichi
We are 19 games into the season out of 162. That is not even equivalent to two football games in their season, yet a lot of you guys are jumping to conclusions. Some of you guys need to learn how to be baseball fans. This is not football where every game is vitally important. As a matter of fact, about 25 games per year the manager puts out a lineup that does not give his team their best chance to win. I'm sick of hearing how concerned people are about Mike Lowell. I'm still more concerned with Encarnacion and Alex Gonzalez, guys that history has shown we need to be concerned about. Mike Lowell we don't need to worry about, I gaurantee you that. There's a lot of people here that are so freaking fair-weathered it's sickening. One day you love Mike Lowell when he hits the GW home run in the NLCS, then after a slump he sucks and should be benched. Some of you guys hated Encarnacion in the offseason, yet now since he's had a good start he's all of a sudden a budding star. Luis Castillo had a bad first 9 games and a lot of you were bitching. It makes me sick to see you guys tearing these guys that have contributed so much to the franchise over the years because of a few bad games. Relax a little bit. Fish Tank Frenzy
Very good post ! The baseball season is a marathon not a sprint. Overall I like what I have seen from the team. If they can be around .500, or a few games above .500 at the all-star break, I think this team has what it takes to make a run in the second half. The offense isnt clicking and yet they are still one of the best in the NL. Go Marlins !
Michael
Yeah, imagine if our offense had been going this entire year so far... we'd probably have 5 or 6 more wins..what do you think?

Guest Juanky
Great job by the NBA not scheduling the Heat to play tonight Meh to the world.
MarlinsChik305
Well said! I agree that people shouldnt take these games so seriously. Its the beggining of the season, things are bound to happen. If we win 2-3 games in the series, well be okay. It may be quite frustrating, but dont let it get to you, not all games are important. Some are to test new lineups, or give some guys some AB's

Marlins2003
All I know is we're in first place as of this writing. Sure there have been a few trips along the way but nonetheless the team is doing more right than wrong. If the team keeps on winning at the rate they have in the first 19 games of the season it will win 94 games in 2005, a number I for one will be satisfied with. Whether another team in the NL East performs better remains to be seen. Vinivedivichi's original post said it best, "It makes me sick to see you guys tearing these guys that have contributed so much to the franchise over the years because of a few bad games.
