May 5, 200521 yr I heard through the grapevine they may eat Giambi's and Browns contract and release them. 763891 The Yanks should do that. No sense dealing with those turds.

He said that Sean Hem or whoever was pitching for the Yanks tonight against the D-Rays would go 7 IP with 0ER and 4H...hah.
May 5, 200521 yr that shakeup sure worked wonders today.... Cano with a throwing error that led to a run, and Womak misplays a fly ball that turns into a RBI double. keep it up Yanks! :thumbup
May 5, 200521 yr Beautiful. So, what big name OF will the Yanks go after? There is no way Womack is a permanent solution out there.

There is no way Womack is a permanent solution out there. 763927 Considering they've got no one to trade, it'll be someone with a bad contract on the downside of his career. At this point, they won't get anyone they want unless it's through free-agency. I'd say their most likely trade target is Ken Griffey Jr, but I'd say that Preston Wilson is the best bet (considering the expiring contract and underperformance of that contract) for them to come away with...the Yankees' days of naming the player they want is done, and nothing proved that more than their pursuit of Johnson during the season last year. In the offseason, they can still get just about anyone they want (because the trade market is different), but they can't do the grab a player anymore.

Wang'll probably be traded, but I think they hold on to Cano, and Duncan's too young, I don't think teams'll be lining up to take him. And even with Duncan being their #1 prospect, none were good enough to crack the Baseball-America top 100...
May 5, 200521 yr Eric Duncan is #36 764124 I stand corrected, damn "find on this page" let me down...
