Wanna know why Craig hates the Cubs?

It was a good game last night. Contreras didn't pitch very well.

The White Sox are still solid, but I'm sticking with my Twins prediction.

Thank God we avoided the sweep, that would have been embarassing.

And Minny loses, back to up 4.5 games.

The Sox caught the Rays at the wrong time...Tampa Bay is a very streaky hitting team, and the previous two games were evidence of that.

Next is Baltimore at the Cell (I'll be there Friday :thumbup ) should be a good barometer for where we are right now.

And on a side note, Sammy's fake injury, coincidentally causing him to miss this series where he would have been abused beyond belief, is a nice touch.

Im sure the O's would put him on the 15 day DL because of a 3 game set.... :thumbdown

I would agree, except it's retroactive I believe, so he can come off of the DL early next week.

Chicago Tribune:

The Sox were hoping that number would grow considerably, but the Orioles decided Tuesday night to place Sosa on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to May 5, preventing him from making the trip to Chicago or the following series in Kansas City. Orioles fans have a May 20 home game against the Phillies circled on their calendars, the earliest Sosa could return.

The inury:

Abscesses in the skin are readily visible and are red, raised, and painful.

And

Staph infection is also the leading culprit behind cases of food poisoning, and can be to blame for larger life threatening conditions, such as Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS), pneumonia, bone infections (osteomyelitis), mastitis in nursing mothers, endocarditis (infection of the inside of the heart), and bacteremia (blood infection).

Not too fake to me.

True that.

Against Garland Sosa is 5 for 12 (.417) with a HR, 2BB and against Buehrle he is 5 for 13 (.389) with a HR, 3BB.

He is 0-2 against Garcia and hasn't faced either of the Cuban lovers.

I don't think he was that scared or faked it either.

I'm glad somebody realizes this guy is a bum...

that was sarcasm but Ill assume so was your response

It was, I know you approve of players on the juice.

I'm glad somebody realizes this guy is a bum...

Obviously Mav was using sarcasm.

But can you really call someone with a career BA of .277 to go along with 578HR, 1543RBI and 234SB a 'bum'?

If that is a bum then we only have had a handful of good players throughout the time of history!

His numbers don't make him a bum, how he got them does.....

Barry Bonds has 703 homers or w/e it is, and he's a bum.

If you do steroids, you suck, end of story.

True that, the fact that he's actually a bit smaller than he was in college shows his chronic use of the juice.

You guys lost to the Rays again.

Maybe the Tribune Company knew something.

This is the start of the end for the White Sox...the Twins are pulling it together...

769978[/snapback]

26-9,,right the start of the end.

Watch games instead of reading numbers. But you will see in time.

27-9, 6 game lead....

To say we will fall is fine, but to say the start of the end is upon is is ridiculous.
