I just emailed Mayor Manny Diaz for all his hard work in helping us get a new stadium. I think it would be nice if everyone will do the same. Trust me, they like seeing that people appreciate them. He deserves all the thanks he can get.

While Mayor Diaz has jumped on board full force recently and is certainly the more vocal of the two, County Manager George Burgess has been working on this deal and has been in full support since the beginning. So you could also thank him as well, dont know if he responds as quickly: Manager@miamidade.gov

i just got a reply, its exactly the same as the one you got miri. Looks like diaz is hoping to get a seat on the state senate in the future.

I wrote them both the other day and just got a reply back from the Mayor.

BTW I did find out that my Senator up here did support it fully.
