May 25, 200521 yr Mine would probably be that Mikey has the lowest batting average of the team. Never did I thought that would happen..
May 25, 200521 yr The thing is, all but one of these stats are hot/cold type stats that are unexpected though not impossible. Enc leading the team in RBIs, Moehler having the second best starter ERA, and Trelle being 8-1 can be attributed to a solidified hot streak, and Mikey's struggles both in homers and average, Juanpy's low average, and Leiter's walks (probably the most expected stat of the ones up here if you asked at the beginning of the season) can all be chalked up to extended cold spells that are very hated and very common in baseball. Slumps don't just last three days and they are gone, sometimes they go for months at a time. However, the one completely unexpected stat (though he is my boy) is Enc leading the team in walks. This can't be attributed to a hot or cold streak, this is a complete and total turnaround in his approach at the plate. Though we have some impatient hitters on the team, Delgado and Castillo both draw their share of walks and Cabs has been developing patience lately. But for Enc to lead everyone just goes to show the kind of mental change he's made from last season to this one.
May 25, 200521 yr gotta go with moehler, he's been a stud so far... but the gonzo/jp OBP one is a close 2nd. d-train at 8-1 is pretty surprising too
May 25, 200521 yr Interesting poll. Thanks. I voted. Then changed my mind. Then changed my mind again. Quitting now. No "All of the Above."
May 25, 200521 yr Each and everyone is bizarre. There were so many I could have voted for I voted for none.
